Our client is a well-established dealer in power generators and related services. They seek to recruit a service engineer to provide after sales technical support to customers. He / She will also be involved in providing presales support to the teams.  The ideal candidate will an experienced generator service engineer with past exposure to various generator brands

·        Troubleshooting, routine maintenance, top overhauling, and major overhauling if required. 

·        Repair electrical faults in generators, alternators and low voltage switchboards.

·        Prepare PDI reports and inspections.

·        Installation and Commissioning of Generator sets at customer end. 

·        Register complaint after getting the complaint calls from customers.

·        Conduct customer visits, and dealing with customer queries by identifying root cause of the failures and providing 
         breakdown solutions to put the equipment back in operation and close the complaint. Prepare a service report of the closure of the complaint

·        Undertake service visits, i.e. Warranty, Out of Warranty, and AMC. Prepare the service report ensuring it is duly 
         signed and stamped by the customer.

·        Carrying out routine maintenance activities to the satisfaction of the customers. 

·        Achieving parts and service revenue. 

·        Carry out technical audit for the field engines. 

·        Coordinating with customers / suppliers as per requirement for any technical discussion held

·        Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study

·        Atleast 6 –8 years’ relevant experience

·        Demonstrable knowledge in Diesel, Gas, Thermal and Solar based power plants 
·        Knowledge of a variety of manufacturer’s equipment
·        Ability to work as a team player and also unsupervised
·        Good communication and interpersonal skills 
·        Excellent customer service skills
